Index’s HDPE Block offers an ideal solution for thermoforming and mold fabrication. Available in extrusion-molded and compression-molded options, this material is widely preferred for vacuum thermoforming applications and Kydex® compression molding.
- Extrusion-Molded HDPE: The industry’s go-to choice for standard vacuum thermoforming.
- Compression-Molded HDPE: Designed to reduce warping in two-sided (male/female) Kydex® molding, making it the preferred material for holster manufacturers cutting their own molds.
All HDPE materials supplied by Index undergo a stress-relief annealing process, minimizing internal stresses to ensure maximum machinability and dimensional stability. Available in multiple thicknesses, with custom cut-size options upon request.
